Intro - Big Picture Application (Phase 5)

Each week a new section will be released, so check your inbox every week for the focus of the week!  


In next few weeks we will be diving into challenging the the little details, creating awareness in your blindspots and opening up movement.  You will learn how to apply all the little details into the big picture!

You can expect to learn:
  • Learn key education and awareness around key details of how the little things effect the big picture
  • Learn how to find connect and move using your breathe as a teaching tool
  • Improve your body awareness and skills towards self care and adjustments in movement
  • Create a new understanding of how gravity can help and challenge you!

This week we are going to dive more into how we apply all these little details into the big picture of movement!  

Be sure to read up on all that is in this weeks essential education!  As you spend time reading you can also keep up with your last 3 homework exercises  or a movement class - focusing on the areas that are of struggle!

Week 3 - Small Details in Big Picture = Huge Impact! (Phase 5)

There are typically 2 ways to take on this 'stuff' - small to big (which is the direction I choose with this program) or big to small!  So if you are the one that prefers the big and will eventually get to the small - this is where you will be tuning in!!

If you are beating yourself up because you either feel like you are falling behind or haven't yet started - you can join right here!  There will be some missing details in which you can always work backwards at a later date if needed!

It might seem like a lot this week, I have included different options as well as how to challenge yourself if you find a few too easy!

Week 4 - Finding your Back Body! (Phase 5)

Simple yet effective! 


This week we will be working on bringing some of the little details together - some might even notice that they have been there done that but 'OH MY' it's so much different this time around!

I welcome all comments, struggles, complaints, successes and everything in-between.  Happy moving

Week 5 - A Movement Class

Yay for hanging in there and plugging along!  It's about the journey not the destination!  As some of you are struggling to keep the pace, motivation or even giving yourself some time I promise it's worth it!

I wanted to do a movement class that develops your ability to absorb forces.  Our body absorbs forces 24 hrs a day! Its ability to be able to absorb our body weight and so on affects our ability to develop power!  

There is a constant balance between the strength of our internal rotators and our external rotators.  

For example:  As our foot first makes contact with the ground our body has to have the ability to absorb the forces that occur as more and more body weight is transferred to that foot.  This should come from the strength of your internal rotators, if weakness is present then the external rotators will try to help to slow down the forces.  This seems complicated but what it really comes down is the stronger you are in absorbing forces (strength on the in) the better you will be at producing power (strength in the out) which allows for freedom of movement!

See if you can notice how 'light' you become on your feet after building your in!

Week 6 - Deeper Dive into the Hip and Pelvis Connection

These will only take a moment!  Let's assess your ability to move your pelvis around your hip and your hip about your pelvis.  These movements/tests will help you to see whether you use them together or if you can separate them.

Can you stabilize and move?  Where do you lack the ability to stabilize and what moves unnecessarily?  Let me know what shows up!

As I'm sure you know already I am a big assess the before and after of how you move!  I will be adding a new movement class next week that will help improve what you notice with these 4 assessments.  The more information you can share the more detailed I will get in the movement class!

Week 7 - Re-evaluate, Retest & Rediscover your Awareness + BONUS CLASS

Now that you have spent some time discovering and exploring and then a little opening and awakening its time to rediscover!

Go in with a clear mind and re-discover your awareness.

Revisit your struggles, did anything change?  Notice what changed from the first time you went through the movement class?  Did you discover anything new? A change in awareness?  Nothing at all?
